MY BERLIN AFFAIR. - New York City - Anzeige

As you could have already recognized in the headline, today is about my Berlin Affaire number one, NYC. With Affaire but I think doing just that Berlin is my favorite city. But why affaire, because normally Berlin is my all time loved city, till I got to have a date with NewYorkCity. And how is it possible, that I didn't already uploaded a Post about NewYorkCity since I was there last fall ?!

In any case, I was as I said in October 2015 Carolin (a good friend of mine) and my parents for two weeks in America. Firstly in NewYork, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. So if you are the other two cities wanted to see a few pictures and impressions, then let me know like.
Our hotel was right across the Empire State Building, so when we sat on the toilet (excuse the strange description) we had a direct view on  THE symbol of the Big Apple. We could hardly believe our luck. The other view was commanded by skyscrapers, taxis and millions of lights. For me it was definitely the most beautiful feeling to fall asleep with the conscience, being located in Manhattan and hearing the police sirens and the sounds of the most famous city in the world. For the first time I felt love for loud, really annoying noises, which says a lot about my feelings for NewYork.
I'll now can't give you any direct suggestions for restaurants and cool spots, because I was not as involved as now in the "Blogger circus" and missed all the beautiful cafes and restaurants (like e.g. twohands). Nevertheless, I had morning walks with coffee, or people watching in cafes which I really  enjoyed. The city just screams  for individuality and diversity.

NewYork simply shows that everything is possible. Whether one considers the huge skyscrapers, the High Line Park on an old railway track or the countless successful and realized dreams.

I felt ready for anything and as a "whole" part of the city. A feeling of not belonging never came up. The most beautiful experiences were the daily sunrise between the high street canyons, the Central Park with its incredible "magic" to get a piece of peace and nature in such a large city and last but not least the Rockefeller Center with its incredible view, which was very famous to me through Instagram, Tumblr and Pinterest. The city itself is very noisy and there's always something going on. But if you're "over" the city, a breathtaking view will be offered, which I never would have dreamed of. It was suddenly very quiet and you could "breathe" and marvel the city as a whole. The most beautiful feeling that NewYork gave me.
